Description

The RAFF Starstick Fruit & Nut Treat is a super-premium complementary bird snack specifically formulated for medium-to-large hookbills like African Greys. Prepared by Raff, these oven-baked food sticks hang directly inside the cage to offer your bird a diverse, texturized dietary supplement alongside their standard daily pellets.

Benefits

Encourages Foraging: Parrots have an innate drive to forage. Picking individual seeds and nuts off the dense stick closely mimics their natural feeding behaviors in the wild.

Mental Enrichment: The physical activity involved in working for their food serves as an engaging pastime that keeps your bird mentally stimulated and effectively prevents boredom-induced behaviors like feather-plucking.

Maintains Beak Health: The continuous biting, gnawing, and friction required to break the baked ingredients off the stick naturally grooms their beak. It keeps the beak clean, active, and sharp.

Nutritional Variety: It is fortified with essential B vitamins (B1, B2, B6) and Vitamin C to support overall immunity, metabolism, and radiant plumage. It is also entirely free from artificial colors and preservatives.

Ingredients

The Core (Material): Built around a completely natural, sturdy wooden stick that acts as the spine of the treat. It is safe for the bird to chew on once the food is gone.

The Food Coating (Composition):

Seeds & Grains: Wheat, wheat flour, striped sunflower seeds (7%), hulled oats, sorghum, oat flakes, corn flakes, pumpkin seeds, and buckwheat.
Fruits & Vegetables (Dehydrated): Dried apples (2.5%), dried carrots (1%), and dried bananas (1%).
Nuts & Legumes: Peanuts (4%) and mung beans
