Description

Royal Canin Hepatic offers a delicately balanced formula to help support liver function in cats. It delivers adapted levels of high-quality proteins and is low in copper to help minimize further copper accumulation in the liver.
Because cats with liver disease often have reduced appetites, the formula is made to be highly palatable and energy dense, so smaller volumes can still meet their energy needs.
It also includes an antioxidant complex (vitamin C, vitamin E, lutein, taurine) to help neutralize free radicals that can be elevated in liver disease.

Benefits

Adapted protein content: Supplies high-quality proteins at levels appropriate for cats with compromised liver function, to support maintenance without excessive metabolic burden.
Low copper: Helps reduce the risk of copper accumulation in the liver, which is important in many hepatic conditions.
High energy density: Because cats with liver disease may eat less, this diet provides more energy per gram, so they can meet their needs in smaller meals. 
Palatability: Formulated to be appetizing so cats with decreased appetite are more likely to eat it.
